Cancellation Policy
Registrants may cancel through August 31 for a full refund, or between September 1 and September 15 for a 50% refund. Cancellations made after September 15 will not receive a refund for any reason. Email events@savewright.org or call 312.663.5500 to cancel your registration.

The Conservancy reserves the right to cancel this event at any time if we feel that it cannot be held safely. In this case, the Conservancy would refund participants the cost of their registration, including any add-on events, but will not be responsible for any other costs incurred as a result of our decision to cancel the event.

Attendees may wish to consider purchasing travel insurance, which may reimburse certain costs in the event that the event is canceled or you are unable to participate. The Conservancy does not recommend any specific insurer or insurance product, and is not able to provide guidance.

Photography and Video
By attending this event, you may be included in photography and video recordings that may be used for the Conservancy’s educational or marketing purposes. Photography by participants is generally allowed, but might be restricted or prohibited at the request of specific venues.

Physical Condition Considerations & Special Accommodations
Tour attendees may encounter and must be capable of walking through tight spaces, up staircases, and on unpaved surfaces with no assistance. Private residences featured on our tours are not subject to ADA requirements.

Transportation
Transportation is provided for all tours and events unless otherwise noted. Attendees are not permitted to drive themselves to tours for which transportation is provided. Tour participants must be capable of boarding and exiting coach buses.

Liability Waiver
By registering for this event you consent to the following: “In consideration of my admission to the properties toured through the Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy (FLWBC), I agree to waive, release, hold harmless and indemnify FLWBC and the owners, operators, members, officers, directors, trustees, agents, successors and assigns, of the FLWBC and each and every house, site and entity included in the conference, including any announced changes, from any and all claims, injuries, causes of action, demands, costs, liability and/or harm of any kind that I may have or may acquire against each of them as a result of my participation in this event.”

Personal Conduct Policy
The Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy (FLWBC) expects all individuals involved in its conferences and programs—including attendees, staff, volunteers, exhibitors, and vendors—to engage in behavior that is respectful and professional. Creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone, free from discrimination, harassment, or retaliation, is a priority for the organization.

FLWBC is dedicated to fostering a safe and productive setting for all participants and team members. Everyone involved in FLWBC events is expected to interact with courtesy and mutual respect to help ensure a collaborative and supportive environment.

Any form of retaliation in response to concerns or reports of misconduct is strictly prohibited.

Concerns about violations of this code of conduct should be directed to Glenn Burr, Conference & Events Manager (gburr@savewright.org or 312-663-5500), or to another FLWBC staff member. Consequences for breaches of this policy may include a verbal warning, removal from the event without a refund, or notification of appropriate authorities.

Conference and Program Attendance: Personal Safety and Security Guidelines
The Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy (FLWBC) prioritizes the well-being of all participants at its events. We collaborate closely with venue staff to help ensure a safe environment throughout the duration of our conferences and programs.

Please keep these safety tips in mind:

• In an emergency, dial 911 immediately before taking other actions.
• Stay alert and be mindful of your surroundings
• Travel with a companion when walking to or from event venues, especially during early morning or late evening hours
• Remove your event badge when outside the venue to avoid drawing attention
• Carry only the cash and cards you need; store valuables securely in your hotel room safe, if present
• Never leave your belongings unattended
• If you require help, please reach out to any FLWBC staff or venue personnel

We encourage all attendees to promptly report any suspicious behavior or safety concerns to an FLWBC team member. Your vigilance helps keep the entire community secure—no issue is too small to bring forward. If you notice something, please speak up.

Responsible Consumption of Alcohol
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are often available at FLWBC events and gatherings. If you do imbibe, please consume alcohol in a responsible and respectful manner.

FLWBC staff reserves the right to stop beverage service at their discretion—or to instruct a vendor to do so—and may ask any individual to leave an event if necessary to maintain a safe and respectful environment.

Unacceptable Conduct
Examples of conduct deemed unacceptable include, but are not limited to:

• Harassment in any form, including intimidating behavior or language, inappropriate jokes or remarks, unwelcome physical contact or attention, displaying offensive images, taking photos without consent, or any threatening or stalking behavior directed at attendees, speakers, site hosts, staff, volunteers, exhibitors, service providers, or other guests.

• Acts of discrimination, including derogatory or exclusionary behavior or comments based on race, appearance, age, gender, sexual orientation, disability, political beliefs, religion, nationality, gender identity or expression, marital or educational status, or any other legally protected attribute.

• Verbal or physical abuse toward any individual participating in the event.

• Inappropriate use of sexual imagery or nudity in public areas or during presentations.

• Deliberate disruptions of sessions, exhibits, or any official FLWBC activities, whether at the venue, hotel, or any affiliated space.

FLWBC enforces a zero-tolerance policy for harassment and discrimination. If you experience or witness any form of misconduct, please report it immediately to Glenn Burr, Conference & Events Manager (gburr@savewright.org or 312-663-5500), or speak with any FLWBC staff member. All concerns will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
